Financial Conflict of Interest Policy

Objective research is critical to LifeCanvas Technologies to ensure public trust and meet scientific, program, and ethical goals of our National Institutes Health (NIH) grant funded research and development. To address financial interests held by biomedical and behavioral researchers, the Public Health Service (PHS) and the Office of the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) have published their regulations. In the following policy LifeCanvas Technologies Inc. has therefore comprehensively addressed the requirements of the federal regulations 42 CFR 50, Subpart F, “Responsibility of Applicants for Promoting Objectivity in Research for which PHS Funding is Sought” as implemented for federal grants and cooperative agreements. LifeCanvas Technologies will continue to update its policy as necessary. All LifeCanvas Technologies Inc. employees who are either principal investigators or project directors of NIH grant funded research and development are expected to have read and understood the LifeCanvas Technologies Inc. Financial Conflict of Interest Policy and to have submitted a disclosure form to the Chief Operating Officer.
