Shutdown Procedures
If you will be using the device in the next week:
1. Wash and drain the device.
2. Fill the device with 400-500 mL of distilled (DI) water.
3. Turn on the pumps/auxiliary power for the device.
4. Secure the lid tightly to prevent evaporation.
5. Let the device run, with DI water, with the pumps on until you need it in the future.
If you will not be using the device for over a month:
1. Wash and drain the device.
2. Turn the device off with the switch in the back.
3. Let the device sit off, and dry.
4. When dry, secure the lid to prevent dust accumulation in the chamber.
