The following protocols include instructions for tissue preservation, clearing, labeling (if necessary), refractive index-matching, and mounting samples for imaging with our technologies. Tissue clearing and labeling steps differ based on whether you are using electrophoretic methods (SmartBatch+, SmartClear, and SmartLabel) or passive methods. Please refer to our validated labeling targets list for more information on what can be robustly labeled with our techniques.
